You'll find us at 45 Hulfish Street Princeton, NJ 08542 on Palmer Square, a block off Nassau Street and directly across from the university. Good company on the Square: Alo, maman and Rhone are all within a short walk, and the Nassau Inn has been on the other side of the green since long before any of us.
There are two parking garages near our studio. The closest parking garage is at Palmer Square Chambers Street garage which is located across the street from the studio. Palmer Square Hulfish Street garage is a short walk down Hulfish St. There is also limited metered street parking available within Palmer Square.
You don't have to live in town for this to be your studio. West Windsor, Princeton Junction, Plainsboro, Lawrenceville, Hopewell, Pennington, Montgomery, Skillman, Rocky Hill, Kingston, and Cranbury are all a short drive in.

Walk out our door, cross Nassau Street, and you're on campus. Princeton University sits directly opposite Palmer Square, roughly a two minute walk from the machine you'll be on. Nassau Street is meant to be the line between the town and the university, and it has never really worked. The Institute for Advanced Study is a mile south, and Princeton Day, Hun, and Stuart are a short drive out. A lot of this town keeps an academic calendar.
The rest of it keeps a train schedule. Princeton Junction runs to Penn Station all morning and the Dinky covers the last five minutes. When the day starts on a platform, 50 minutes is often the only window there is. That's the one we take.
Princeton respects work done slowly and done well. So does our method. It works on your body, and it works on your mind. (Training for a race? Start with Run Stronger: how [solidcore] builds the strength behind every stride.) And whatever stage you're training through (pregnancy ⋅ postpartum ⋅ coming back from an injury), our coaches will meet you where you are.
Essence Grigsby leads the Princeton team as Head Coach and Community Manager. Essence started as a fitness professional in Hamilton, NJ around 8 years ago. Her background includes kickboxing and classical pilates. Her journey with [solidcore] began in Philadelphia as a part time coach, where she soon became the Head Coach and Community Manager for the Wilmington, DE location. She has recently made her way back to central Jersey and is looking forward to bringing [solidcore] to Princeton’s vibrant community.
Never taken [solidcore] before? Book a Starter50, our beginner-focused format that breaks down the machine and the movements at a slower pace. Here's the full guide to choosing your first class. Fair warning: your muscles will shake. That's not a bug. It's the whole point, and here's the science behind it. Once you're hooked, here's how often to come back.
