Oakbrook Center has been the center of gravity for DuPage County since 1962. That changes on November 19th with the “soft open” off a new [solidcore] studio. There is a reason to cross 22nd Street, [solidcore] Oak Brook opens at 1301 West 22nd Street, Suite 102, on the ground floor of Oak Brook 22, with grand opening events to follow celebrating on January 9, 2027.
New to [solidcore]? Our coach-led, 50-minute classes use slow, controlled resistance training on our custom reformer-inspired machine to take your muscles all the way to failure. It's boutique fitness built around one goal: creating the strongest version of you.

You'll find us at 1301 West 22nd Street, Suite 102, Oak Brook, IL 60523, on the ground floor of Oak Brook 22 at the southwest corner of 22nd Street and Spring Road, directly across 22nd from Oakbrook Center.
Parking is free and there is more of it than you will need. Surface lots in front of the building and behind it, plus a free garage around back. Nothing to feed, nothing to validate.
Getting here is the easy part. The I-88 ramp sits immediately adjacent to the building, southbound I-294 is about a mile and a half east, Route 83 is minutes away, and there is a PACE stop at our entrance.
Oak Brook is a small village that sits next to everything, so the studio name is not the whole story. This is also the first [solidcore] west of the city, which means the catchment is wide: Hinsdale, Elmhurst, Downers Grove, Lombard, Oakbrook Terrace, Clarendon Hills, Westmont, Villa Park, Burr Ridge, Willowbrook, Westchester and La Grange are all inside about fifteen minutes.
Oak Brook runs on everyone else's schedule. The drive in, the calendar that filled itself overnight, the list that got longer on the way over, two million square feet of Oakbrook Center across 22nd Street waiting on whatever is left of your afternoon.
Fifty minutes of it is yours. Lights down, phone away, one coach, and a machine that does not care what kind of day you had. You will shake. You will finish. Then you go back out and handle the rest of it. You will be stronger for it.
We put the schedule where the gaps are. Midday classes you can take and still be back at your desk, and evenings for everyone driving in from Hinsdale, Elmhurst and beyond.
There is also an Oak Brook that gets left off the map. Salt Creek runs through the north end of the village, and Fullersburg Woods carries two and a half miles of trail alongside it, past the 1852 waterwheel at Graue Mill. Slow resistance work is what keeps those miles from costing you anything. No landing, no pounding, no joint taking the hit. Just strength that holds up, and keeps holding up long after running stops being an option. (Training for a race? Start with Run Stronger: how [solidcore] builds the strength behind every stride.) And whatever stage you're training through (pregnancy ⋅ postpartum ⋅ coming back from an injury), our coaches will meet you where you are.
Samantha Grant leads the Oak Brook team as Head Coach and Community Manager. With over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, Samantha is excited to bring her passion for movement and community connection to [solidcore] Oak Brook. With her education and experience of multiple fitness modalities she believes that there is truly nothing quite like [solidcore] and is thrilled to introduce this exciting, much needed workout to the Oak Brook community. “I want every person who walks through our doors to feel like they are a part of a team, embrace the challenge and leave feeling stronger, confident and proud of what they have accomplished” says Samantha.
