Erin was born and raised in a small town in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire. Despite a love for the outdoors, she knew from a young age that she wanted to live in a city, so in 2008 she moved to Washington, D.C. to attend Georgetown and never left!
After earning a BA in Linguistics and French, Erin realized that she didn’t see herself pursuing a career in her field of study and made the switch to the health and fitness world. The decision completely changed her life- for the better! She is now a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and has been teaching yoga and yoga sculpt classes for nearly four years at CorePower Yoga, where she also worked in management. Erin recently graduated from American University with her MS in Health Promotion Management.
Erin loves yoga and practices regularly, but found more of a full-on obsession with [solidcore]. She was quickly hooked not only on the physically demanding workouts, but also the mental challenge each class presents and the amazingly supportive community at every studio. Erin has been coaching for over a year and is excited to bring her upbeat attitude and bass-heavy playlists to Ballston!
When she isn’t doling out [shakes] and high fives in the studio, Erin is probably spending time with her fur baby, a pit bull named Tyrone…and yes, she has pictures if you want to see him! She also spends her free time drinking red wine (balance, amiright?), doing crosswords, making an excessive number of Spotify playlists, and binge-watching old episodes of Chopped.
Just a 5-minute walk from the Ballston metro underneath the Maxwell Apartments.
Parking is available at the Ballston Mall, 627 N. Glebe Rd. for up to 3 hours for $1.00!
