Natalie grew up in Hagerstown, MD. She is the middle of 5 children and loved growing up in a bustling and exciting household. Natalie began taking dance classes at a young age and continued dancing through high school. She also was a cheerleader all 4 years of high school and captain of the squad her senior year. Natalie attended the University of Maryland in College Park and graduated with BA in Communications in 2009. After graduating from college she made a living bartending at a college bar (shoutout to The Cornerstone Grill & Loft aka The ‘Vous) while exploring her passions. Eventually she found group fitness was the only way she herself could stay motivated to exercise and wanted to turn her love of group fitness into a career. She began instructing barre and indoor cycling.
Natalie took [solidcore] for the first time while she was training to be a cycling instructor. Though she was in the best shape she’d ever been in, the [solidcore] class humbled her. It was the hardest workout she had ever attempted and she was determined to go back again and do better. She went back again, and again, and again. Natalie was hooked as she realized she would never “win” at [solidcore], but she was getting stronger. When the opportunity to coach [solidcore] came about, Natalie was up for the challenge. She is very excited to announce that after several years searching, she has found a way to combine her passions and potential into a full time fitness career and is the Studio Manager of [solidcore] Bethesda set to open April 2016.
When Natalie is not at [soldicore], you can catch her leading a cycling class, exploring great restaurants in DC with her husband, Nick, or spending time with her adorable pups, Marilyn and Noah.
