I think I am ready! What else should I know about the workout?

The best way to learn is to jump right in and take a class! You will get personalized attention during your workout since classes are no more than 12 people. You will need to arrive at least 10 minutes before class. During this time you will receive the required machine intro, safety information, and exercise demos from your coach. During class, your coach will give both verbal instructions and hands-on assistance. They will also provide options to modify or amplify each exercise. We highly recommend our [solidcore] 101 classes for first-time clients. These are for anyone who wants a more detailed overview of the workout, the machine, and the overall class experience.

What is [solidcore] 101?

[solidcore] 101 is a tutorial that provides an in-depth overview of the machine and our signature exercises at [solidcore]. Whether you’re a first timer or you’ve been coming to [solidcore] for a while, this tutorial will give you a better understanding of the machine, proper form, and options for modifying and amplifying each exercise.

What is an arms+abs class?

[solidcore] arms+abs classes target only upper body and core and do not include lower body exercises. If you need a rest day for your glutes and hamstrings, have a long run coming up and want to stay fresh, or are looking for extra attention to your core and arms, these are the classes for you! Please note, we do not recommended arms+abs for first timers.

I have never worked out before, will I be able to do the class?

We’re thrilled that you’re thinking about getting into shape with us! [solidcore] is a very efficient and effective way to burn fat and build muscle. We recommend you be able to hold a plank for 60 seconds before coming to take a class, and be ready to work hard for 50 minutes. Your [solidcore] coach will assist you with modifications to help you build your strength. This will ensure you feel supported and encouraged throughout class.

I am in great shape, will this workout challenge me?

Yes, guaranteed. In fact, this is THE workout for you. Because [solidcore] works your slow-twitch muscles to failure, you will feel an intensity like you heve never felt before. Triathletes, marathoners, crossfitters, and athletes of all kinds tell us [solidcore] is the hardest workout they have ever tried. You’re going to love the way you feel in class and after class.

Are there any age restrictions to attend [solidcore]?

Minimum age to attend class is 16, and a guardian must be present if you are under 18.

When should I arrive for class?

Class begins on time. If it your first visit at the studio, please arrive 10 minutes prior to receive a proper introduction to the studio. It is essential to get an overview of the machine and the workout, and your coach will want to have a few minutes to meet you and learn about your fitness background. Your safety is important to us! If you do not arrive in time for your introduction, you may be asked to reschedule.

What should I wear and what should I bring?

  • Wear clothes that you are comfortable working out in
  • Bring a water bottle – we have water fountains at each studio and bottled water available for purchase
  • No cell phones during classes – let yourself have 50 minutes that is all about you
  • Jewelry is not a good idea
  • No strong perfumes or colognes please
  • Towels are provided
  • No shoes or socks! We do have grippy toe sox for sale, but they are not required

When will I start to see results?

Everybody and every body is different. On average, if you begin attending class 2-3 days a week, you will start to see and feel changes by the end of week two and you will notice a big difference in your overall strength after 30 days.

How many days a week should I come to class?

This workout is designed to work your body to muscle failure, so recovery time is important. The amount of time your body will need to recover depends on your own personal fitness level and nutrition. Our recommendation is to come 3-4 times a week to get the best results. Remember, our muscles and bodies can’t change without rest and time to rebuild. We HIGHLY recommend taking off two days a week to let your muscles rebuild so you can see extraordinary changes in your body.

What is the cancellation policy?

Due to limited number of spaces available, you can change or cancel your class up to 10 hours before the class starts – please note we do not give refunds; your class will go back in your account for you to use another time. If you cancel within 10 hours before class starts, you will lose the class. We cannot give refunds for any classes that you miss. If you have an unlimited package and you late cancel or a no-show for class, you will be charged a $30 fee.

Will my spot be given away if I am late for class?

Yes, if you are 5 minutes late to class, your spot may be taken by someone who is waitlisted or dropping in. It is very important to arrive on time so you can get a balanced workout and do not disrupt class. If you are not at the studio within the first 5 minutes of class you may be marked as a late cancel.

Is there a waitlist for full classes?

Yes, and we strongly recommend putting your name on the waitlist if you see a full class you’d like to take! Not only will you have a good chance of getting into the class, it also helps us know where we need to add classes. Get on the list by clicking “Sign Up Now!” when a class reads “10 Reserved, 0 Open,” and choose the waitlist option. If a spot opens up, we will email/text you to confirm your spot. Waitlists close 10 hours before a class start time so if you happen to be in the area, you can still swing by the studio to see if there is an opening.
